This was a day about family and friends, who came from all over the country and Europe to this Holman Ranch wedding to celebrate this young and charming couple’s unification. It was my first Holman Ranch wedding and I immediately fell in love with it. This venue has a noble feel just like old towns in Europe, matching their style of an intimate wedding. They wanted their guests to feel at home, to have fun and enjoy the time being together. Thus, they didn’t go big on wedding decoration to keep it low key. Yet, they still made it look elegant in their own way: mermaid waived hair with the floral crown, semi-casual groomsmen attire, blush matching bridesmaids dress and the glamorous wedding dress.
People say French is the language of love and romance. Listening to the entire wedding spoken in French was such a pleasure. Although the only sentence I could really understand was “je t’aime” (meaning I love you), the sound and tone of this language are so charming and fascinating. However, I found it quite challenging to anticipate what was going on because their communication was in French only. Luckily, with photojournalism approach, I could anticipate what would happen next to get myself ready.
